Dal Bhat Dinner

“This is one of my favourite prints from my Nepal series. I was living as part of a small creative community and we all ate together each day. I spent time making drawings during mealtimes, capturing each of my peers. I used the drawings to collage together a dinner scene composition which I then carved onto a piece of lino. It’s a really happy memory for me and also an exciting turning point for my printmaking practice - from this point onwards I’ve been using my drawings in a much more direct way when piecing together my images.”

Please note that works can only be collected when the exhibition ends on February 10th.
