The Limner Collection
The Limner Collection has been co-produced by participants of Watts Gallery Trust’s Art for All community programme. Each product is either handmade or decorated with designs created by the programme participants inspired by the work of G F and Mary Watts. The Limner Collection is a continuation of the social enterprise Mary Watts founded with the local community.
The Limner Collection is named after the house which George and Mary built and lived in which is part of the Watts Gallery – Artists’ Village, Limnerslease. ‘Limner’ is old English for artist and ‘lease’ which meant to glean.
The Limner Collection is a social enterprise and profits made from it supports the Art for All learning programme and the community programme participants whose designs have been used.
25% of profits made by prisoners is donated to Victim Support
