Art for All
At Watts Gallery, Art for All is the founding vision that art should be accessible, meaningful and useful to everyone, not just a wealthy or specialist few. This idea shaped everything from the Gallery itself to Mary Watts’s community pottery, which offered training and employment to local people at a time of rural hardship. Art for All at Watts today continues that legacy through exhibitions, learning and community programmes that treat creativity as a tool for wellbeing, social connection and change, keeping the Watts’ belief in the transformative power of art at the centre of the organisation’s work.
