Rosemary Jacks
Working from her studio in the old village bakery in Musbury, East Devon, Rosemary Jack crafts wheel-thrown earthenware pottery inspired by traditional slipware, North Devon harvest jugs, and the natural world around her home. Her pieces blend fun functionality with quirky hand-painted motifs of birds, animals, and plants using sgraffito, paper resist, and brushwork techniques. The application of oxides and underglaze colours, under a clear lead glaze give a subtle earthy quality which would fit both country and contemporary homes and make for an interesting and cheerful additional to any kitchen.
