This beautiful mini-anthology contains William Wordsworth's heart-stopping ‘Old Man Travelling’ alongside contemporary poems that capture the delights of a walk with a dear friend and of walking in solitude. There’s a poem about setting off through city streets to find a river and a heron, and another featuring a surprising encounter on the top of Helvellyn.
Candlestick Press have enjoyed huge success with readers and in the press. Their rule of thumb in choosing poems is that if they speak to them, chances are they will speak to others too. Many of the poems are by British poets, but they have also included fantastic work Irish, Australian and American poets. The pamphlets are printed on environmentally friendly FSC accredited material and feel and look highly attractive.

Delivery costs:
For most products, with the exception of contemporary gallery artwork, we currently offer free standard delivery on all UK orders over £100. Our other delivery costs are as follows:
UK – £4.95 per order
European Union – £15 per order
Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) £30 per order
Contemporary artwork Works can be collected from Watts Gallery, Compton, GU3 1DQ. We can arrange delivery however the cost will vary depending on the destination, size, weight and value of the artwork. Some works cannot be delivered due to their size or fragility. Pick-up - You can opt for ‘Local pick up’ to avoid paying delivery and to collect from Watts Gallery, Compton, GU3 1DQ
Duties, Tax and Service Charges
If your delivery address is not within the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties, taxes and delivery service charges, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note that your country’s customs office may also apply a small administration fee to each delivery.
