This book, which accompanies an exhibition of the same name at Watts Gallery, is the first to explore the lives, influence, and legacy of seven sisters who helped shape 19th century art, ideas and society in ways that continue to reverberate today.
Drawing on new research, and featuring essays by Dr Emily Burns, Caroline Dakers, Dr Gursimran Oberoi, William Dalrymple, Dr Marion Dell and Jeff Rosen, Women of Influence: The Pattle Sisters shows how, through the bohemian artistic salon they created at Little Holland House in London, the Pattle sisters gained significant influence.

Delivery costs:
For most products, with the exception of contemporary gallery artwork, we currently offer free standard delivery on all UK orders over £100. Our other delivery costs are as follows:
UK – £4.95 per order
European Union – £15 per order
Rest of world (including non-EU European countries) £30 per order
Contemporary artwork Works can be collected from Watts Gallery, Compton, GU3 1DQ. We can arrange delivery however the cost will vary depending on the destination, size, weight and value of the artwork. Some works cannot be delivered due to their size or fragility. Pick-up - You can opt for ‘Local pick up’ to avoid paying delivery and to collect from Watts Gallery, Compton, GU3 1DQ
Duties, Tax and Service Charges
If your delivery address is not within the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties, taxes and delivery service charges, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. You will need to pay any additional charges for customs clearance. Please note that your country’s customs office may also apply a small administration fee to each delivery.
