"After finishing my Foundation at City and Guilds, I went straight on to complete an MA in Fine Art Printmaking, and was the winner of The Artichoke Print Workshop Award 2020.
Since then I have shown in physical and online exhibitions such as group shows ‘Works on Paper 3’ by Blue Shop cottage, ‘Reaction in Seclusion: An Exhibition of Drawings made During Lockdown’, and will be showing at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 2021.

How I work

My work is intrinsically informed by colour, light, and especially the fragility of the natural world. My pieces have references to big skies, wide coastlines and rapidly disappearing landscapes. I try to utilise the beauty within landscapes and place it against the stark realisation that they are all being slowly eroded. My work stems from sketches, notes and photographs made outside, which are revisited later in my studio in London.

All of my prints are monoprints, meaning there is only one. I use this method of printmaking not only because each print is so unique, but the technique can be so varied and to me the
most painterly. With this form of printmaking there is so much suspense as you never really know how each print is going to turn out, its very addictive.

What I love about night

It feels solitary and lonely, you see the universe across the night sky which makes you feel very small and also everything exciting happens at night!!"
