Watts Contemporary Gallery sells contemporary artwork to support Watts Gallery Trust's Art for All programme. Curated exhibitions support and showcase work by emerging and established artists and makers of national and international merit, including local artists, that resonate with the heritage and ethos of Watts Gallery- Artists' Village.

Work for sale online will rotate in conjunction with each upcoming exhibition. 

Celia Lewis takes inspiration from her surroundings. Whether it is the tranquil beauty of the Surrey Hills, a chance arrangement of fruit in a supermarket, or her own garden where she has kept chickens, turkeys, Guinea fowl and the occasional Gloucester Old Spot pig. Lewis creates work infused with the colour and vitality of the natural world.

By juxtaposing abstract motifs and figurative characters, Lewis's expressive depictions of birds, insects , farm animals and flora and enriched by the interplay of pattern and design, the real and the fictive. Each artwork acts as a window to Lewis's intriguing perspective. On show at Watts Gallery until February 24th.
